What do we do?

The Akhet-Aten Bookshop hopes to bring you useful information concerning books about the Amarna period, including their availability online.

If you order a book after clicking on one of our links to those booksellers shown above, we earn a commission of 5%-20% on the purchase. But we try to include links to all booksellers, not just those that pay a commission, especially if a title can be found significantly cheaper elsewhere, or a special edition is only found in one particular place. To help you in your search, we provide other resources and links to price-comparison sites.

How much do we make?

To date, it looks like this bookshop generates approximately $25 a month for The Akhet-Aten Home Page.

What do we do with it?

We plan to use these funds for the purposes of further research and improvements to the webpage, which includes domain and server charges, book purchases for reviewing, etc. We have not yet received a cheque, but will soon. If revenue increases, we may be able to move to a paid domain. (Trust us, we don't make enough to party on!)
